WSHV Residential
Our CQL accreditation in Person Centered Excellence is testament to the caring culture grounded in quality services and respect at all times. Each day WSHV residential programs provide comprehensive person centered services to over 70 individuals with moderate to severe physical, medical and cognitive disabilities.
Individual Residential Alternatives
WSHV operates several Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRA) for people with a variety of disabilities. This program enables people to live as independently as possible while receiving quality support from our staff.
Intermediate Care Facilities
WSHV operates three ICFs, which are located in Ellenville, Saugerties and New Paltz. These residential programs provide 24-hour care to consumers who have severe physical, medical, and intellectual disabilities.
HOW TO APPLY TO DAY HAB
The WSHV Day Habilitation Program is an adult program that provides individuals with assistance and education to meet their goals and pursue their interests. We believe all persons can learn and grow.
In the Community Programs
WSHV’s Day Habilitation program has a variety of community opportunities, both volunteer and recreational. Our volunteer opportunities include the Habitat for Humanity Re-store, Family of Woodstock, Angels Food East, Saugerties Animal Shelter, recycling, clothing donations, and card delivery to area nursing homes.
Community Habilitation
Community Habilitation is a Medicaid-funded, OPWDD certified program designed to provide one-to-one training to people with intellectual/developmental disabilities enhancing the skills needed to live more independently in their homes or in the community.
