The School for Achievement Speech-Language Pathologists are New York State certified and are trained in, but not limited to, children with diagnosed syndromes such as Autism, Down Syndrome, or Hearing Impairment, and persons with neurological problems related to certain diseases and syndromes.

Intervention programs vary depending on the nature and severity of the communicative disorder, the student’s age, and individual concerns. Therapy is provided for students and is scheduled during the school day. Families of children in speech and language therapy receive information throughout the year regarding their student’s progress and ways to facilitate communication skills outside the school.
