CQL ACCREDITATION

Wraparound Services of the Hudson Valley has received the Council of Quality Leadership (CQL) highest level of accreditation, Person Centered Excellence”. This award is OPWDD’s most desired national accreditation and is a testament to the care, support and innovation of our dedicated staff.   Agencies who become accredited are vetted to ensure that they are dedicated to the definition, measurement and improvement of personal quality of life for people receiving services and supports.

Our staff spent hundreds of hours preparing for the audit. The audit itself lasted four and a half, eight hour days. It involved interviews with people that we serve, reviews of records and policies, developmental structures of outcome that will drive person centered planning and meetings with leadership to review our commitment to the process.

There are approximately 400 agencies state-wide that provide residential services. Of this group only 29 agencies (8%) have achieved accreditation. At the end of the process we earned a four year accreditation and high praise for the quality of our services, governance and training.
