Mr. Sammis joined the organization in October 2021 as Chief Financial Officer. Bill was previously employed as CEO of Crystal Run Village, Inc. and has over 25 years of experience as an Administrator in the developmental disabilities field. He holds an MBA in Public Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Ashlee has been part of the Wraparound Services of the Hudson Valley family since January of 2009. Prior to becoming principal, she had many experiences at WSHV including teaching assistant and special education teacher. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Marist College, a Master’s in Education from Walden University and most recently a Certificate of Advance Graduate Studies in Educational Administration from SUNY New Paltz.
Ashlee currently resides in Kingston, N.Y with her husband and three children.
Melissa is the Agency’s corporate compliance officer. She is a practicing attorney, focusing her practice on corporate and regulatory compliance for the health care industry. She has been practicing law for over 20 years and has been counsel to many providers in the developmental disabilities field. Melissa is also an adjunct professor of management at Clarkson University’s Capital Region Campus, teaching Legal Aspects of Health Care, and at Albany Law School, teaching Health Care and HIPPA Compliance. Melissa is a graduate of Albany Law School and Union College, where she concurrently received her JD, cum laude, and MBA in health systems administration. She is also a graduate of Siena College, where she graduated summa cum laude in finance. She was name as one of The Best Lawyers in America in the practice area of Health Care Law from 2013-2020.
Morgan Kinne, Director of Residential Services, has worked with the IDD population since 2007. Throughout her career, she has worked as a Direct Support Professional, Teaching Assistant, Residential Manager and Residential Director. She successfully completed specialty training through the National Alliance of Direct Support Professionals for Front Line Supervisors through a 5 month program. Morgan has assisted in the development and practice of Mentorship Committees in order to impact retention rates and piloted programs for Positive Intervention practices for children with Autism. One of her greatest accomplishments was assisting in the emergency evacuation and relocation of a children’s group home campus in Texas during Hurricane Harvey in 2017. Morgan received the Culture of Caring award as a result of her efforts.
Austin has worked in the field of Human Services and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities for over 25 years. Years after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering he decided to make a career and life change directed toward helping others and went on to earn his Master’s in Physical Therapy. He worked in very diverse healthcare settings from Early Intervention to Children’s Inpatient and Rehabilitation to Adult Outpatient and Sports Therapy to Geriatric Therapy. He also learned the administrative side of insurance companies and managed care side while working in Utilization Review for United Health Group where he went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Following his work with UHG, he decided to permanently move into work in administration of agencies providing developmental disability services. Over the past 15 years he has progressively advanced in his administrative responsibilities up to his current role as the Chief Operating Officer here at WSHV.
Austin currently lives in New Paltz is married and a proud father of two boys.
Kelly grew up in the Hudson Valley and started her career in the field as a personal care assistant. Kelly has worked as a Medicaid Service Coordinator, Community Habilitation specialist, Residential Direct Support Professional, Coordinator of Wraparound Community Services and now, Director of WCS. Kelly has been married for 6 years and has 3 children, Cooper and twins – Beau and Oliver.
