Gerard Dohrenwend, CEO

Mr. Dohrenwend has worked in the human services field for over four decades, starting his career as a Direct Support Professional in a residential treatment center.  He holds a Bachelors in Social Work from SUNY Brockport, a Master in Social Work from Adelphi University, and a Masters in Not For Profit Administration from the University of Notre Dame.  Mr. Dohrenwend is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of New York.  Throughout his career, Mr. Dohrenwend has pioneered innovative programs for people in need, including leading a team to develop of one of the largest Treatment Foster Care Programs in the nation, working with a team to create OPWDD licensed group homes for foster children who are developmentally disabled and aging out of the foster care system,  leading a team to create a residential treatment center for individuals with developmental disabilities who are also challenged by mental health issues, and the development of WSHV’s award winning Wraparound Community Services Program dedicated to providing a community based alternative to residential care for individuals with disabilities.  

In addition to his work at Wraparound Services of the Hudson Valley Mr. Dohrenwend serves as the President of Hudson Valley Service Providers LLC., current board member and former Treasurer of LifePlan CCO, and former President of the Board of the Hudson Valley Direct Services Coalition.

Austin Rynne, Chief Operating Officer 

Austin has worked in the field of Human Services and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities for over 25 years. Years after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering he decided to make a career and life change directed toward helping others and went on to earn his Master’s in Physical Therapy. He worked in very diverse healthcare settings from Early Intervention to Children’s Inpatient and Rehabilitation to Adult Outpatient and Sports Therapy to Geriatric Therapy. He also learned the administrative side of insurance companies and managed care side while working in Utilization Review for United Health Group where he went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Following his work with UHG, he decided to permanently move into work in administration of agencies providing developmental disability services. Over the past 15 years he has progressively advanced in his administrative responsibilities up to his current role as the Chief Operating Officer here at WSHV.

Austin currently lives in New Paltz is married and a proud father of two boys.

Bill Sammis, CFO

Mr. Sammis joined the organization in October 2021 as Chief Financial Officer.  Bill was previously employed as CEO of Crystal Run Village, Inc. and has over 25 years of experience as an Administrator in the developmental disabilities field.  He holds an MBA in Public Administration from the University of Phoenix.

Ashlee Quesnell, Principal

Ashlee has been part of the Wraparound Services of the Hudson Valley family since January of 2009.  Prior to becoming principal, she had many experiences at WSHV including teaching assistant and special education teacher.  Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Marist College, a Master’s in Education from Walden University and most recently a Certificate of Advance Graduate Studies in Educational Administration from SUNY New Paltz.

Ashlee currently resides in Kingston, N.Y with her husband and three children.

Kelly Creswick, Director of Wraparound Community Services

Kelly grew up in the Hudson Valley and started her career in the field as a personal care assistant. Kelly has worked as a Medicaid Service Coordinator, Community Habilitation specialist, Residential Direct Support Professional, Coordinator of Wraparound Community Services and now, Director of WCS. Kelly is happily married and has 3 children, Cooper and twins – Beau and Oliver.

Terri Nightengale, Residential Director

Terri Nightengale got her start at the age of nineteen, working as a support to a personal friend with a disability.  She formally entered the field as a Direct Support Professional with New Horizons, where she spent thirty years rising through the ranks to a director position.  In addition to her work with those with disabilities, she spent four years at a technical school studying floral design and horticulture.  She currently resides in Kerhonkson, NY.

Maureen Goshea, Director of Human Resources

Maureen is the most veteran member of the leadership team, having been with the organization since 1998.

Melissa Zambri, Corporate Compliance Officer

Melissa is the Agency’s corporate compliance officer. She is a practicing attorney, focusing her practice on corporate and regulatory compliance for the health care industry. She has been practicing law for over 20 years and has been counsel to many providers in the developmental disabilities field. Melissa is also an adjunct professor of management at Clarkson University’s Capital Region Campus, teaching Legal Aspects of Health Care, and at Albany Law School, teaching Health Care and HIPAA Compliance. Melissa is a graduate of Albany Law School and Union College, where she concurrently received her JD, cum laude, and MBA in health systems administration. She is also a graduate of Siena College, where she graduated summa cum laude in finance. She was name as one of The Best Lawyers in America in the practice area of Health Care Law from 2013-2022.

Michael Ryan, Director of Compliance & Quality Assurance

Michael joined the organization in November 2020 as a QA Coordinator.  He was previously employed as a Residential Director and has 11 years of experience in the field.  He holds a degree in Criminal Justice from Mercy College.  Michael resides in Poughkeepsie with his wife and three children.
